Ilko Stoyanov, Mayor of Blagoevgrad, won the last elections with a program for the city’s New Beginning. Seven strategic projects are being prepared to boost the city’s economy and increase the wellbeing of its citizens.

According to the requirements of the Ministry of Regional Development , the Municipality of Blagoevgrad has prepared a draft Plan for integrated development of the municipality for the period 2021-2027.
